The farmhouse sits at 420 m altitude, 16 km (30 minutes) from Alès. A central spot: the whole Gard, the Ardèche and the coast are within easy reach.
Anduze, the Pont du Gard, Uzès, Sauve… and so many more treasures to discover.
In Alès, follow the D916 towards Cendras, then briefly the D32, then the D160 (stay on the paved road) to Saint-Paul-la-Coste (+ 8 km). In the village, look towards the town hall (mairie) and take the street on the left towards Careneuve — follow the green sign “La Vie Naturelle – Le Castandel”. About 700 m further, turn left: you’ve arrived.
From any major station, take the TGV to Nîmes or Montpellier, then the train to Alès.
